Itchy Stitchin’ Finger

I have actually finished a few more things since the girly skinny scarf.  I made another skinny scarf that I decided to keep for myself, a dishcloth, and some fridgies. (the snail was an accident, that seemed to go over big with some people. Someone even asked me how I made it.)

I like the feeling you have, after just finishing a project.  I wish it would not go away, but it will, and I will find myself stitching like crazy to get that high again. Oh my god I am a crochet junkie!

 Anyway, I finished a skinny scarf, that will soon be on it’s way to NYC.

I finished my first crochet project!  I am quite pleased with myself, even if the size is a dozen chains off.  I would go into details, and post pictures but it is for a Christmas present, and my mom might see this site.

I feel like crochet is much like learning to play an instrument. I have to get my fingers and hands used to the motion, the tension, and holding the hook. After I finished this one, I needed to take a break because my fingers were sore.

Now I cannot wait to start another one!  Since tomorrow is a doctor appointment day for the boyfriend, I will have plenty of time to work on gift #2.
